The Club would like to inform the fans that, following the very sad resignation last Thursday of Jon Rowbotham as Head Coach of the Scimitars, as well as of the Sheffield Scimitars' Academy (more information to follow), it has been very active in ongoing discussions with a number of people to ensure the Scimitars are a viable force in the EPL next season.

We appreciate there has been understandable speculation by the fans following Jon Rowbotham's shock announcement and the Club thanks you for your continued patience.

We would like to assure you, that as soon as there is definite news to report, you will be updated and given the opportunity to attend an open Fans' Forum in the near future.
