As of Thursday afternoon, a meeting between potential new ownership of the Scimitars and the Sheffield Steelers was held to look at what could be done between the two clubs to help with a Sheffield EPL team in 2010/2011 season.
As of yesterday afternoon great progress was achieved, with the assistance of the Sheffield Steelers.
We are now looking at the financial aspect of everything and doing what we can to make things viable.
We are at present looking at budgets and sponsorship packages to see how best to move forward.
Please be advised that the 2010/2011 team that John Rowbotham assembled, has been advised of current situation. They have had a meeting with the potential new ownership and all players are backing us and wanting to work with the proposed plans.
As soon as all plans are finalized, we will reveal them to the fans and we ask for your patience at this time.
We do hope to have a further update by the end of next week, maybe sooner.
Hopefully we will be able to confirm a 2010/2011 Sheffield EPL team in the next couple of weeks.
