News Article | 2nd April 2010 » Scimitars - Spare Shirt
A the start of last season the Scimitars didn't have a shirt to use in
the pre-season games, indeed at the Fife Tournament the team played in
the Warm-up shirts and although those black Fitness Unlimited shirts
have become much loved, the team needed a "proper hockey shirt".
This season the team have played in Red and White and with initiatives
like the "own and loan" programme being so popular the Club have
produced a few different shirts which have all been really successful.
The latest addition to the Scimitars shirt wardrobe is unveiled
today. The Club have produced a "logo free" shirt which will be used
as a spare set of shirts for special events that may take place up to
the start of the next season.
These shirts are a brave move as they do not contain any sponsors
branding and are akin to the "old time hockey" shirts of a bygone age.
Made to the same standards of the current Scims uniform the shirts
will hopefully become collectors items in their own right.
Keep an eye on the web site for details of how you might be able to
get your hands on one.
