Sheffield Scimitars v Slough Jets - Sunday 28th March 5.30pm

This is the final League weekend of the regular season and Scimitars face Slough Jets away on Saturday and at home on Sunday at 5.30pm, and then again on Easter weekend!

So - the last 4 games in 2009-10 season and all against Slough Jets. This weekend will be an interesting test run for both teams as, although the games are meaningless in terms of league positioning, they will give both teams an insight into the other's strengths and weaknesses before the all important Play-offs the following weekend.

Scimitars are all square in the series so far though the two wins were in the earlier part of the season. Slough are well-deserved League runner's up and Scimitars are going to have to be on top of their game to beat them to Coventry.

In addition to securing their 2nd League position, the Jet's Head Coach, Pete Russell has this week been named EPL Coach of the Year, with Gregg Rockman being voted as the EPL 1st All Star team netminder. Blas Emersic also was voted to the 1st All Star team and has notched up over 100 points over the season.

Scimitars face some tough and experienced opposition and Sunday's game should be very competitive as the Scimitars will need to get some momentum going for the final push to Coventry.

Milton Keynes also deserve Sheffield's congratulations on becoming English Premier League Champions, and Guildford for winning the EPL Cup Final against MK on Wednesday 24.3.10.
