Sheffield Scimitars v Bracknell Bees

Scimitars enjoyed a full return to normal service, with a maximum points weekend and a 12 goal haul after a brief blip the previous weekend. This included a game away in Bracknell so they will be out for revenge at home this Sunday.

Scimitars were the only team in the League to win both games last weekend and currently sit in 4th place in the League.

Bracknell Bees, despite their 9th position, have two of the top points scorers in the League, Cesky and Pinc, (both on 41 points) who will looking to increase their tally on Sunday, so the Scimitars defence will have to be sharp for the full sixty minutes. Bracknell also play a physical game of hockey which the Scimitars will be ready for this week.

It promises to be a tough but entertaining game on Sunday with some extra entertainment in the period breaks.

Scimitars are away in Milton Keynes on Saturday and will be targeting another win down there. Milton Keynes Lightning lie in 2nd place and are a strong team, however they went on a short losing spell after the Scimitars unexpectedly beat them in late October. This will be a tough challenge for the mainly young British team but one they will take on with relish.
