STOP PRESS - Due to demand, we are now offering the AWAY shirts as well as the HOME, but there is a deadline of 8th September at the very latest to have your details printed on the shirt.

The introduction of the Own & Loan team shirt sponsorship programme for the supporters is proving really popular this season and not long after the launch of the new shirts more than half of the roster is now sponsored!

This year the Scimitars are again offering supporters the opportunity to sponsor of their favourite players home shirt. Own & Loan gives you or your company the opportunity to buy your favourite players home shirt and then "Loan" it back to the team for your chosen player to wear for the duration of the season.

With the new team shirts being launched recently the Club has already received pledges for nine of the eighteen shirts from sponsors. Personal player shirt sponsorship for Own and Loan costs £150 and the biggest benefit of own and loan is that you will receive the shirt at the end of season Awards Dinner.
Not only that but within the "game worn" authentication patch each sponsor will have their name printed to recognise their contribution to the team through their sponsorship. These patches only appear on actual players uniform and will not be included on the replica jerseys making the game worn shirts unique in all respects.

In addition your name will be posted on the Own and Loan page of the website along with recognition in the match day program You will also receive a framed and signed souvenir photo to record your sponsorship.

With players game worn jerseys being much sought after the Club has decided that for this season the "shirt of their back" type of raffle will not be offered. This means that game worn shirts are going to be in limited supply and will therefore become much in demand. With only 20 or so players on the regular roster the Scimitars home shirt for 2009/10 there are not that many opportunities to get your hands on a player's shirt and with 9 of these already secured time is running out.

As you can see, the 'shop' is open and is strictly on a first come, first served basis. There will be no "shirt off the players back" this year, so if you want a genuine game-worn shirt, this is your only opportunity!
