The Sheffield Scimitars Players and Management would like to thank all those who attended Presentation Evening in the Platinum Suite at Bramall Lane last night, an enjoyable evening was had by all.

The evening included a Question and Answer session with the Chairman Martin Birch, new Directors Gary Apsley and Ian Johnson, along with Coach Ron Shudra and Captain Ben Morgan.

There were two sets of Awards presented, the Special Team Awards by Coach Ron Shudra and two voted for by the Supporter's Club members.

PLAYER AWARDS 2008-9:

Forward of the Year - ROBERT FARMER

Defenceman of the Year - LEE HAYWOOD

Most Improved Player - PAUL JONES

Under 21's Player - LLOYD GIBSON

Top Points Scorer - PETER SLAMIAR

Top British Points - ROBERT FARMER

Coach's Player of Year - ROBERT FARMER

Players' Player - ROBERT FARMER

SUPPORTERS CLUB PLAYER AWARDS:

Away Player of the Year - ROBERT FARMER

Player of the Year - PAUL JONES
