News Article | 27th January 2009 » GR8 Wins for the Scims
The Copthorne Sheffield Scimitars completed a fantastic 4 pointer home double-header by clocking up their 8th consecutive home win since Dec. 14th, scoring 39 and conceding just 14 goals along the way.
Two great team performances in front of good crowds and plenty of action in last weekend's games, including goals, overtime and a penalty shoot out.
The Scimitars still sit in 6th Premier League position but with games in hand over some teams above them. A tight league with some interesting weeks ahead going down the final stretch, teams jockeying for position and signing deadlines looming.
Can the Scimitars keep their momentum going?
They have a quick return match-up down in Milton Keynes on Saturday 7pm, before facing off against Slough at home on Sunday 5.30pm, in another bid to extend their home form.
Ticket information and online purchase available for a great value evening at iceSheffield this Sunday against 4th placed Slough Jets.
GR8 Group Bookings also available for 8 or more people from your business, your school and youth groups. Phone 07766 766560 for details and bring a crowd!
