News Article | 4th December 2007 » Scimitars' Christmas Appeal - Help a Hallam Child

As you are all probably aware, HELP A HALLAM CHILD have been the adopted charity for the Sheffield Scimitars for the past two seasons. This Christmas, in conjunction with Radio Hallam and Meadowhall, we intend to be part of the Christmas Toy Appeal.

We ask for your generosity in giving to this worthwhile cause by purchasing a gift for a child, no matter how small this gift maybe, to bring a smile to less fortunate children at this time of year. All you need to do is to leave the gift at the Match-night Desk during our home games, up to and including the game against Milton Keynes on the 16th December, and we will do the rest.

At the request of the charity we ask for the gifts to be new and unwrapped. Thank you all in anticipation of your generosity to this worthwhile cause.
