News Article | 6th November 2007 » Scimi joins Captain Blade at Sheffield United's game Tuesday, 6th November

SHEFFIELD United fans insist Captain Blade is the sharpest mascot in town but Scimi is about to give him a run for his money. Our much loved mascot will be heading to Bramall Lane on November 6 to spread the word about the Scimitars.

Blades play Ipswich on November 6 and it's hoped a few extra fans can be tempted to come along to our game against Telford Tigers a few days later. The Telford Cup game, face off 7.15pm, will be a real family affair with free admission for kids. Anyone under 16 will get free entry and it's hoped there'll be plenty to cheer about.

Fans will also get the chance to put their name forward as Scimi's deputy. The club is looking for someone to step into Scimi's skates and fill in at the occasional game. If you're interested get in touch!
