A disappointing end to the season with both games of the final regular season weekend on lost on home territory.
On Sunday the game was between two teams whose final League positions were already decided, with both wanting to avoid injuries but also hoping to claim a win before heading into the playoffs.

Stephen Wallace had a couple of chances on net as did Peter Slamiar and Ron Shudra but with Kudrna saving them. The first period ended 1-0 to Swindon.

Play was end to end with Swindon also able to breakaway whilst on a penalty kill but with some good defensive work to block the shots. The Scimitars powerplay put some pressure on Kudrna but with no result.

Some offensive pressure from Swindon before the go-ahead goal was scored by Farmer at 46.13 who swept the puck up high into the net from a cross by Shudra causing Swindon to call a time-out. during some offensive spells by both teams resulting in Swindon equalising at 51.04.
