Solihull returned on Saturday for their last visit of the regular season, with Robbie Sobala sitting out this game with a separated shoulder. Again they left empty-handed, though the Scimitars were made to work hard for their two points.

Scimitars missing Dowd, Brittle, Ashton, Rose, Jones, with Ryan Johnson serving a match ban.

Pasi Raitanen made a great close-up save early on followed by the Scimitars scoring first at 08.05 by Shudra following a goal-mouth scramble, with a second goal at 08.19 by Stewart. There was some tight defensive work and strong skating in this period to finish 2-0.

Solihull pulled one back on the powerplay at 22 mins., levelled at 28.15 again on the powerplay, and took the lead at 30.49. Shudra levelled the score with a great goal into top of the net at 32.37 and took the lead again with his hat-trick goal at 37.22. The Scimitars worked hard and there was some great passing and shots during the powerplay with just the one conversion by Ron.

Andrew Turner (MOM) scored at 55.25 and again at 56.55, though Solihull pulled one back at 58.05 to take final score to 6-4. Solihull pulled their goalie in last 2 minutes, Stewart broke away and aimed at the empty net but hit the post. The Scimitars did not look at their best in this game but were glad to take the two points.
